Our beautiful buck, Mercury, passed away on May 13, 2017. This buck did his job right up until the very end of his life, settling his last doe in February 2017. He will remain here, at the top of our Reference Goats page, because of the huge impact he has made on our herd. We are honored to have owned him, shown him to ADGA Permanent Champion status, and to have been able to keep him in condition to have him receive a 92 EEE at 2016 Linear Appraisal (at 9 years old!). The fact that this buck was still going strong and breeding does at 9 years 11 months old is a testament to his wonderful genetics and the care he received from his prior owners throughout his life. Thank you Anne Petersen for breeding such an amazing buck!
We will miss Mercury's sweet, calm, loving disposition every single day. And thank you to Gila Wachman for selling Mercury to us.
His legacy lives on in our herd through his sons and daughters.
